HELEN GRACE PROSS

  Mrs. Pross, 76, of 2701 Walnut Ave., Apt. 104, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 1983, in Altoona Hospital.
  Mrs. Pross retired from the Altoona Hospital and Valley View Home laundry department.
  She was born Sept. 23, 1906, in Altoona, the daughter of Louis K. and Serella (Griffith) Daugherty, and June 9, 1927, in Cumberland, Md., married Edgar Pross, who died Dec. 11, 1959.
  Surviving are three children: William in South Carolina, Charles of Altoona and Elizabeth L., at home; four stepchildren: John of Erie, James of Juniata Gap, Donald of Washington, D.C., and Madline Smeltzer of Altoona; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  Also surviving is a brother, Byron S. of Altoona.
  Mrs. Pross was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home.

PROSS - Services for Helen G. Pross of 2701 Walnut Ave., Apt. 104, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, 1304 17th St., by Pastor Carl W. Alexy. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
