ETHEL P. MENTCH 

Formerly of 1511 13th St., died at 5:10 p.m. yesterday, May 22, 1975 in 
the Fitzgerald Nursing Home.  Mrs. Mentch had been an employee of Saf-
T-Bak, Inc., Altoona.  She was born Sept. 29, 1893, in Huntingdon, a 
daughter of James and Gertrude (Stouffer) Prough, and married 
Christopher Mentch who died in 1960.  Surviving are three children, 
Kenneth J. of Albuquerque, N.M., William H. of Altoona and Mrs. Delores 
Moore of Millersville, Md.; seven grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Irma Lindsay of Leesburg, Fla.  She 
will repose in the T. J. Stevens Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today 
and 9 to 10 a.m. tomorrow.
