PROUGH Died of a complication of diseases at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lingenfelt, 2616 Eighth avenue, at 6 o'clock last evening, aged 76 years, 3 months and 21 days. Her husband died about fifteen years ago. Besides the daughter, with whom she lived, she is survived by these other children: Mrs. Sophia Lingenfelt, Mrs. James M. Sisler, Mrs. Charles Cutty, of Altoona; Mrs. Sue Yingling, step-daughter, of East Sharpsburg; John and George W. Prough, residing near Hollidaysburg, and Frank Prough of Frugality. Also leaves the following sisters: Mrs. Julia Daughenbaugh, of near Frankstown, Mrs. Jacob Henry, living near Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Christ Henry, of this city. She was a life-long member of the Lutheran church and at the time of her death was a member of the Hollidaysburg congregation. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock; interment in Fairview cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Saturday, September 9, 1899, page
