Died at his home at Brooks' Mills, Blair township, yesterday morning at 2 o'clock of typhoid fever. The deceased was aged 25 years and is survived by a wife, Edna, and three children - Irma, Otis and Margaret. He was a son of D. B. Quarry of Blair township and was a carpenter by occupation. He was a member of Wanita lodge, No. 1142, I.O.O.F., and East Freedom lodge, Junior Order of American Mechanics. He was a model young man and a member of the Lutheran church of Newry. The cortege will leave the house Friday morning at 9.30, thence to the Newry church, where services will be held at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Newry Lutheran cemetery.
