CLARA RAGO

  Mrs. Rago, 75, of the Eleventh Street Tower, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 
14, 1986, in Altoona Hospital Following a brief illness.
  She was born Nov. 2, 1910, in Altoona, the daughter of Michael and Julia 
(Benedetto) Valentino, and July 7, 1929, in Altoona, married Louis Rago, who 
died Aug. 21, 1982.
  Surviving are three sons and a daughter; Domenick, John and Michael of Altoona 
and Rachel Petrone of Juniata; eight grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
  Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Edward, Guido, Josephine Shamus 
and Vera Lutz of Altoona, Jennie Borda and Helen Isaac of Camp Hill, Mae Solomon 
of Pittsburgh and Elsie Taddeo of Clarion.
  Mrs. Rago was a member of the First Church of Christ.  She was also a 
volunteer worker at Valley View Home and a member of the Senior Citizens Choir 
of the Eleventh Street Tower.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 11 
a.m. Thursday in the Santella Funeral Home.
