RAMSEY Of 544 Fourth avenue, Lakemont, who died yesterday morning at 10.45 o'clock while en route to Mercy hospital after he had been stricken with a heart attack at the car barns of the Altoona & Logan Valley Electric Railway company. He was born in Reynoldsville April 9, 1890, the son of George and Virginia (Bowman) Ramsey. He was a blacksmith for the Altoona & Logan Valley Railway company, having twenty years service. He was a member of the Lakemont Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Sara B. (Hixon) Ramsey; three children, Stewart and Miss Jane Ramsey, both of Altoona; Wayne at home; the following sisters and a brother: Mrs. Irene Pounds, Miss Edna Ramsey, Mrs. Charles R. Reffner, Mrs. M. H. Creamer and V. B. Ramsey, all of Altoona. Friends will be received at the home. Altoona Mirror, Thursday, February 10, 1944 RAMSEY - Funeral services for Earl W. Ramsey of 544 Fourth avenue, Lakemont, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the Lakemont Church of God, in charge of Rev. B. E . Fockler. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
