Rarick, employed as a forgeman by the P.R.R. in the Twelfth street shops and residing at 3016 Broad avenue, died at the Mercy hospital at 5 o'clock yesterday morning following an operation for appendicitis, being admitted on Christmas day. He was born at Millheim, Centre county, and was aged about 55 years. He was married twice, his second wife, Mrs. Mollie Rarick, and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Maude Kepple, of Llyswen, and Mrs. Helen Rarick Shriner, of this city, surviving. One sister, Mrs. Charles Ross, of this city, also survives with his aged mother. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the P.R.R. relief and an elder in the Trinity Reformed church. The funeral services will be held at the Trinity church Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, followed by interment in Greenwood. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday, January 1, 1919
