Mrs. May Reed, wife of George B. Reed, died at her home on Main street
on Friday morning at 5 o'clock.  Her death was sudden and the
announcement shook our town from end to end.  She was a daughter of
John and Jennie Patterson, born May 15, 1858, and was therefore only a
trifle over 28 years of age.  She was married December 4, 1879.  She
leaves two young children - Minnie and Eddie.
