MRS. NONA REED

Of 432 Second avenue, died this morning at 3.30 o'clock at Mercy hospital where 
she was admitted yesterday.  She was born in Duncansville in 1868, a daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. James Adams, and was married in June, 1890, to Clarence Reed, 
who preceded her in death 25 years ago.  She was a member of Bethany Lutheran 
church.  Surviving are five children, H. Baker Reed, Mrs. Helen Wills and 
Roland K. Reed, all of Altoona, Karl Reed and Mrs. Ruth Brown, both of 
Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and the following 
brothers and sisters: Frank Adams of Roaring Spring, Bernard Adams of 
Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Jennie Diehl of Altoona, Mrs. Edson Konkle of Canan Station 
and Mrs. Clara Stiffler of Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received at the Books 
funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
