CATHARINE REEDER Mrs. Catharine Reeder, widow of Michael Reeder, died at her home at Ironsville, Tyrone, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock following an extended illness with a complication of diseases. Mrs. Reeder was a daughter of John and Susanna Craig Bookhammer and was born at Pennsylvania Furnace, Huntingdon county, on January 1, 1860. In 1877 she was united in marriage with Michael Reeder who died in 1910. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are these sons and daughters: Mrs. Ella Bathurst, Ironsville; Mrs. Adolph Carper, and Mrs. David Fike, Birmingham; Mrs. Joseph Miller, Boswell; George Reeder, Pittsburg; William Reeder, Sinking Valley; 37 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. She was the last of her family. Funeral service will be held at the Bathurst home at Ironsville on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Harry W. Witchey, pastor of the Birmingham Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Birmingham cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, May 2, 1930
