KATHARINE REEK. Died at Her Home on Lanners Street This Morning at 9 o’Clock. Mrs. Katharine Eaken Reel passed away at her home on Lanners street, Friday morning at nine o’clock. Mrs. Reel had been in failing health the past three months with a complication of diseases. She gradually grew weaker until she passed away this morning at the above mentioned time. Mrs. Reel was a daughter of the late William and Nancy Eaken. She was born 70 years ago, February 2, at Grazierville and resided in this vicinity all her life. December 31, 1886, she was united in marriage to Samuel T. Reel who survives to mourn her death. The following step-children also survive: William Reel, Mrs. Charles Hastings, Mrs. Charles Goheen, Philadelphia; Harry Reel, Illinois, Mrs. Otto Jeoner, Philadelphia. One brother William Eaken, of Grazierville also survives. Mrs. Reel was a devoted member of the First Methodist church.
