MRS. GRACE EDNA REEL

Formerly of 415 W. 17th St., Tyrone, a guest at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, 
for the past year, died in Tyrone Hospital at 6:25 p.m. yesterday, 
after an extended illness.  She was born May 25, 1881, at Philipsburg, 
a daughter of Joseph and Mary A. (McMonigal) Lewis.  On Sept. 20, 1905, 
at Altoona she married William L. Reel, who died Aug. 13, 1956.  
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Stansbury of Detroit, Mich., five 
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a brother and a sister, Samuel 
Reel of Detroit and Mrs. Viola Stouffer of Huntingdon.  Mrs. Reel was a 
member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church, Tyrone, and of the 
Ladies Auxiliary to Railroad Trainmen.  She had been employed by the 
Tyrone Area Schools in the cafeteria for several years.  Friends will 
be received at the Johnson Funeral Home, Tyrone, from 7 to 9 p.m. today 
and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
