Charles Reem, of Frankstown. who fell in the same battle, arrived and were conveyed to the Hall. The body was enclosed in a metallic coffin, and, considering the length of time he had been dead was in a good state of preservation. The funeral took place on Sunday, and the remains of the dead hero were followed to their final resting place in the Presbyterian cemetery by a large concourse of citizens, preceded by Van Tries' Cornet Band and military escort.
