REESE, A well known resident of the Seventh ward, died of consumption complicated with heart failure, at 9:10 o'clock last night, at her home, 311 Chestnut avenue. She was born February 19, 1829, her maiden name having been Kimler. She spent the greater part of her early life in Maryland and married C. C. Reese in 1847 in Smithburg, in that state. From that place they removed to this city in 1872, and have resided here ever since. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn their loss the following children: Mrs. Sue Under, of Hagerstown, Md., A. D. Reese, of Los Angeles, Cal., and William and Elmer Reese, of this city. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church, and was a communicant of the First church in this city. Her many good qualities made her a host of friends, who will be grieved to learn of her death. The remains will be taken to Smithburg, Md., for interment. Funeral services will be conducted at the house at 7:30 o'clock this evening. The body will be taken to the station at 10:30 o'clock and placed on eastern express.
