REFFNER Of Martinsburg RD 1, died unexpectedly at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, June 5, 1972, at his home, after a brief illness. He was born May 3, 1892, at Bakers Summit, a son of Wesley and Harriet (Mauk) Reffner, and married Gertrude Hahn in 1911. She died July 14, 1961. Surviving are five children, Mrs. Florence Kahley of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Violet Yingling of East Freedom, Mrs. Franceia Stonerook of Martinsburg RD 1, Mrs. Helen Reininger of Roaring Spring and Clair of Middletown; 16 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Mr. Reffner was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Friends will be received in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
