EMMA REFFNER Of Martinsburg RD, died at 9.40 p.m. yesterday in the Nason Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born at Queen on Aug. 11, 1891, a daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Hoenstine) Claar, and married William Reffner on March 17, 1910, at Roaring Spring. Surviving are her husband, eight children, Floyd, William and Blair of Roaring Spring RD, Mrs. Gertrude McMaster of Hollidaysburg RD, Mrs. Marietta Butler of Martinsburg RD, Elmer and Martin of Roaring Spring and Kenneth of New Enterprise RD, 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, a brother, Charles of Boston, Mass., and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Roudabush of Queen and Miss Pearl of Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Reffner was a member of the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Miller- Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg, after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
