He was a son of Wesley and Harriett (Mock) Reffner and was born in Roaring Spring Oct. 5, 1885, and had been a resident of Roaring Spring all his life and for the past ten years had been employed by the D.M. Bare Paper company. Mr. Reffner was twice married, the first union being with Miss Annie Musselman of McKee, who died in 1918. To this union, two children were born, Harry Reffner of Roaring Spring and Charles, who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage Sept. 2, 1921, with Miss Ella Helsel, who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Teeter and Mrs. Harry Rightnour; seven grandchildren and one sister and five brothers, Mrs. Samuel Gray and David and Harry Reffner, all of Hollidaysburg, William and Lyman of Roaring Spring and Chester Reffner of McKee. Friends are being received at the home. H.Q. Rhodes, pastor of the Church of the Brethren. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends are being received at the home.
