REFFNER Of 540 Maple St., Roaring Spring, died at his home at 5.30 a.m. today. He was born at Bakers Summit March 3, 1897, a son of Wesley and Harriet (Mock) Reffner. He married Tressa Thomas April 22, 1921, in the First Lutheran Church, Altoona. Surviving are his wife and two brothers, William of Martinsburg RD and Chester of Hollidaysburg. Mr. Reffner was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Roaring Spring, Murray-Appleman Post 147, American Legion, Barracks 1035, Veterans of World War I, and Roaring Spring Volunteer Fire Company. He was a former P.R.R. employe, retiring 1955. During World War I Mr. Reffner served as a private in Company C, 107th Infantry, 27th Division, AEF, including eight months in France.
