MAUDE ELIZABETH REFFNER

  Mrs. Reffner, 96, formerly of 2301 9th St., second floor, died at 
12:30 a.m. today, June 24, 1985, in Hillview Convalescent Center, after 
an extended illness.
  She was born Sept. 10, 1888, in Altoona, the daughter of John and 
Blanche (Dougherty) Crider, and Nov. 28, 1906, in Altoona, married 
Orlando E. Reffner, who died May 5, 1959.
  Surviving are a daughter, Virginia L. Treese of Altoona; four 
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren.
  Mrs. Reffner was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church.
  There will be no viewing.
  Arrangements by William G. Bigelow Funeral Home.

REFFNER - Private graveside committal services for Maude E. Reffner, 
formerly of 2301 9th St., will be held by the Rev. John Erdos. 
Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Arrangements 
by the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home. A son, John M. Reffner, and a 
great-grandson preceded her in death.
