At 3.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon Mrs. Amanda M. Reger, widow of Jacob Reger, died at the residence of her son, Thomas M., 1539 Ninth street, of general paresis. She had been confined to her home since March, 1899. The deceased was born in Somerset on April 13, 1824, and was married in that town to Thomas Reger, who died forty-two years ago. Three sisters survive - Mrs. Joseph Kantner, of Johnstown; Mrs. Margaret Pisel, of Akron, O., and Mrs. Jacob Fleck. Sixty years ago she united with the Christian church, or Disciples of Christ. Mrs. Reger was a good mother and had a large circle of friends. The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
