REIFSNYDER.

  Dr. Irvin S. Reifsnyder died at noon on Tuesday at the home of his 
parents in Pottstown, Pa., after the third attack of pneumonia.  He was 
a brother of Herman S. Reifsnyder, the well known Altoona newspaper man 
and was born on Sept. 12, 1889, the son of former Chief of Police Lyman 
B. and Alice S. Reifsnyder and was married in 1912 to Miss Reba Schonk.  
Surviving are the parents, the widow, two children, Lyndell Janet and 
Marian M., two brothers and one sister, H. S. Reifsnyder of this city, 
Mrs. Frank K. Hartenstine of Kenilworth and Corporal Walter S., in the 
center tank corps, in France.  Dr. Reifsnyder was a graduate of the 
University of Pennsylvania veterinary school and president of the 
Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinarians' association.  The funeral will be 
held Sunday.
