He had been ill for over a year. The deceased was born in Otterburg, Bavaria, and was aged 57 years, 5? Months and 4 days. When he first emigrated to this country he settled in Hollidaysburg, afterwards in Washington, D.C., from whence he came to Tyrone, where he has been engaged as a stonemason with the Pennsylvania railroad for many years past. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Frederick, at home; Mrs. Frank Hart, of Hollidaysburg; Frank, of Altoona; Annie, Mary, Lizzie and John, at home. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock; services to be conducted by Rev. Father T. W. Rosensteel, at St. Matthew's Catholic church, Tyrone; interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
