Mrs. Sarah Ann Renner died on Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Joseph Renner of Duncansville, aged 67 years, after a long illness from uremia. She was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Graffus and was born near Allegheny Forge in which vicinity she resided practically all her life. Her husband died about fourteen years ago. Besides the son at whose home she died the following children survive, Mrs. Lettie Ressler of Duncansville, Mrs. Margaret Casner of near Roaring Spring and Charles of Duncansville. She was a member of the Duncansville Presbyterian church, J. W. Hicks circle, No. 140, Ladies of the G.A.R., Pride of Blair temple, L.G.E. No. 55. The funeral was conducted yesterday afternoon and interment was made in the Carson Valley cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, April 29, 1918 DUNCANSVILLE The funeral of Mrs. Renner, one of Duncansville's oldest and most respected members, was held Sunday afternoon.
