RENNINGER George Bennett Renninger, a bright Juniata boy who was a member of the present senior class in the borough high school, and a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Renninger, died of tuberculosis yesterday morning at 12.50 o'clock in the family home at 1509 Seventh avenue. He was born in this city on June 25, 1898, and entered the borough schools when Mr. Renninger several years ago moved his household into a new home in East Juniata. Surviving are the parents and three sisters of the deceased young man: Esther, Miriam and Lois, all at home. George Renninger was called at the time of the greatest expectancy of life. He was gentlemanly and studious to a degree that indicated great things for his career, and his going out on the threshold of manhood comes to the family and many loving friends as a terrible blow. He was a consistent Christian and active as a member of the Fifteenth Street, Juniata, Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral service over his remains will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. K. Kniseley, at noon tomorrow in the bereaved home. At 1.25 p.m. the remains will be taken to McVeytown for interment. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, January 29, 1917
