Replogle, a former resident of Altoona, and a brother of L. Z. Replogle, the well known shoe merchant of this city, died at his home in Providence, R.I., early yesterday. Mr. Replogle and his family had resided in this city until ten years ago, when they moved to Providence. He had been in failing health for the last two years but his condition had not been considered critical. He was born in Woodbury, Bedford county, February 7, 1858, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Replogle, both deceased. When about 40 years of age he moved to Roaring Spring and served as postmaster of the borough for a number of years. He moved to Altoona in 1900 and resided here six years. While a resident of this city he was engaged in the insurance business and was also employed in the clothing store conducted by his brother, at Eleventh avenue and Twelfth street. He was united in marriage to Miss Tillie Mock, of Woodbury, who survives with four children: Robert Spencer, Mrs. Idella Brunner, William and Miss Sabina, all of Providence. Two brothers, L. Z. of this city, and C. Z., of Carlisle, also survive. When in this city Mr. Replogle was a member of the First Brethren church. The body will be brought to Blair county, the funeral announcement to be made later. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, January 31, 1917 Funeral Notice. The funeral of Thomas Z. Replogle, a brother of L. Z. Replogle and who died Tuesday at his home at Providence, R.I., will take place on Friday at 2 o'clock at Roaring Spring. Short services will be conducted in the Bethel church and interment follow in the church cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, February 1, 1917 Roaring Spring. The funeral services of Thomas Z. Replogle, formerly a citizen of this place, who died at his late home in Providence, R.I., late Monday night, will be held in the local Church of God at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
