He was born 8/20/1870 at Allegheny Furnace, son of William and Margaret (Eschelman) Rhoades. Surviving are three brothers and a sister: Arnold R. and Martin Z. of Altoona, Pa.; James E., and Lucinda (Rhoades) Calderwood, both of Tyrone, Pa. His parents and a brother, Lowery preceded him in death. Berry was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church, Tyrone, Pa., and of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Company. He was a Pennsylvania Railroad retiree. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. at the Grahm and Getz funeral parlor, with Reverend Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone, Pa.
