Rhoades died at 12:05 o'clock yesterday afternoon of tuberculosis of the bone. He had been ill for twenty-six weeks. He died at the residence of his parents, Albert and Ida B., of South Lakemont. He was born July 1, 1899, and was a member of the Lakemont Church of God and the Pennsy relief. Mr. Rhoades was employed in the Pennsy transfer shed. He is survived by his parents and two sisters and one brother, as follows: Mrs. P. E. Dixon, of New York; Mrs. Mildred Ferguson, of Altoona, and David Rhoades, at home. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Monday morning, May 20, 1918, page 14
