The funeral of Ada Alberta, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Rhoads, of Kittanning Point, took place yesterday afternoon. The services were held at the house, Rev. E. D. Weigle officiating, at 12.30 o'clock. The funeral arrived on the 1.45 p.m. train, the interment taking place in the Fairview cemetery. Ada was the victim of typhoid fever, and her death has cast a deep gloom over the house. She was aged 9 years and some months. Mr. Rhoads and family are comparative strangers in this community, he having accepted the railroad agency at the Point only about six months ago, but they can feel assured of the sympathy of many hearts in this sore bereavement. May the God of all consolation sustain and keep them. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, December 5, 1890
