RHODES Of 423 Bell Ave., died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday, Oct. 10, 1972, in Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted Sept. 15. He was born at Atkinsons Mills, April 19, 1886, the son of Lewis W. and Arrabella (Tweed) Rhodes, and married Mary Lavena Burley. Surviving are his wife, two children, Mrs. Walter Sunderland of Altoona and Dallas L. of Garrett Park, Md., and three grandchildren. Mr. Rhodes retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of Mountain Lodge 281, F&AM; Jaffa Shrine Temple, Williamsport Consistory and the B.S. Davis Lodge, IOOF. Friends will be received in the Axe Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. RHODES - Services for Clarence E. Rhodes of 423 Bell Ave. will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Axe Funeral Home by the Rev. C. Leroy Doverspike. Interment in Alto-Reste Burial Park.
