MRS. ELIZABETH ANN RHODES
 
  Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Rhodes, 511 West 18th street, died at 11:40 a.m. 
Saturday, at the home after an extended illness.
  She was born March 6, 1908, in Tyrone, the daughter of William A. and 
Gertrude Reed.  She was married to Gilbert D. Rhodes April 17, 1930 in 
Cumberland.
  She leaves her husband, mother, Altoona, and one son, Gilbert D. Jr., 
living at home, and two brothers, Howard L. Reed of Philadelphia and 
James L. Reed, of Tyrone; and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy T. Walker of 
Altoona and one step-brother, Norman Hazel of Norristown.
  She was a member of the First Methodist church, Tyrone.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson 
funeral home, 1200 Lincoln avenue, Tyrone, in charge of Rev. John T. T. 
Cummings. Interment in Eastlawn cemetery, Tyrone. Friends are being 
received at Johnson funeral home, Tyrone.
