The deceased was born at Rockhill, Pa., March 22, 1840. He had been a resident of Tyrone since 1900 and was unmarried and a soldier in the civil war. He is survived by two brothers and one sister, James Rhoads of Royer, Pa., Tobias Rhoads of Wertz, Pa., and Mrs. Lydie Cahoe of California. Funeral services were held at the late home of the deceased at 10 o'clock this morning, and interment was made in Grandview cemetery.
