The deceased was resident of Frankstown township. He was a widower, his wife having died many years ago. Mr. Rhodes was a civil war veteran. The immediate survivors are one brother and four sisters: Mr. Samuel Rhodes, of Frankstown; Mrs. Richard MITCHELL, of Ligonier; Mrs. Samuel KOON, of Scotch Valley; Mrs. Rachel KELLER, of Bellwood, and Mrs. Barbara WEAVER, of Gaysport. The funeral cortege will leave the home of Samuel Rhodes, in Frankstown, on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock and the services will be held in the Newry Lutheran church. Interment will be made in the Newry cemetery.
