Rhodes, who died in the Blair county hospital on Friday, was held from his late home on Oak street this afternoon at 2.30. Interment in Grandview cemetery. Mr. Rhodes had been a resident of Tyrone for many years and was aged about 49 years. Surviving are his wife and nine children as follows: Oscar, Phyllis, Daniel, James, George, Lowrie, Dorothy, James, Arthur and Donna, all at home; four brothers and a sister, survive: Martin and Arnold Rhodes of Altoona, Berry and Edward and Mrs. Lemuel Calderwood, of Tyrone. Mr. Rhodes was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men and of the Church of the Brethren. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., May 23, 1927
