Tobias Rhodes 

Died at 1.05 o'clock this morning at the home of a son, L. M. Rhodes of 
Greenwood.  He was born Feb. 9, 1847, and was aged 79 years 6 months 
and 21 days.  He is survived by the following children:  L. M. Rhodes 
of Greenwood; David of Bellefonte;  Mrs. Homer Umbauer of Juniata and 
Mrs. C. D. Emick of Greenwood; also the following step-sons and 
daughters:  J. C. Evans of Bellefonte; Reuben of Fort Wayne; Howard of 
Allegheny; Robert in the United States army; Mrs. John Musselman of 
Greenwood, Mrs. Elmer Wills of Juniata and Miss Martha Evans of 
Greenwood.  Also by one brother, James Rhodes of Springfield Furnace.  
He was a member of the East Juniata Methodist church.  The funeral will 
be held Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from the residence of the 
son.  Internment will be made in Greenwood.
