Mrs. Rhodes retired as a nurse's aide from Albert's Nursing Home in 1971. She was born Nov. 30, 1908, in Hollidaysburg, the daughter of Samuel and Lenora (Slippey) Nash. Surviving are six children: F. Marshall of Newry, Mrs. Kathleen Bice of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Maline Ciambotti of Juniata, Mrs. Peggy Wales and Charles Fred of Altoona and Mrs. Linda Perry of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Martha Colbert of Williamsburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Stevens Mortuary. RHODES - Services for Violet V. Rhodes of IDA Tower will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., by Pastor George Kelley. Interment in McIntire Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
