RHODES, Who was stricken with paralysis last week, died at his home, 811 1/2 Nineteenth street, yesterday afternoon. The deceased was born in Mifflin county, Pa., in 1834, and had resided in Altoona about nine years. He was a stonecutter by occupation. Seven children survive him, as follows, all residing in this city: William D. and David F. Rhodes, Mrs. Jennie Ridenour, Mrs. Lincoln Miles and Lydia, Minerva and Effie Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was a member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church. Funeral services will be held in the First United Brethren church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.
