Rice, Jr., son of Alger W. and Margaret Canan Rice, died at 10.45 o'clock last night at the home of the parents, 925 Twenty-seventh street. Death was due to kidney trouble. He was aged 2 years and 4 months. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Canan, of 2701 Broad avenue and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur A. Rice, of 115 Seventh avenue. Rice, of 1115 Seventh avenue, will be held with services at the parental home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, conducted by the Rev. J. E. Irvine, pastor of the Third Presbyterian church.
