RICE Of 428 Washington Avenue, Tyrone, died unexpectedly at 3:45 p.m. yesterday at his home. He was born at Spruce Creek, June 30, 1892, a son of John and Mary (Brenner) Rice, and was united in marriage with Aura M. Croyle. June 26, 1913, at Huntingdon. He was a member of the Spruce Creek Methodist Church, the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way and was a former machine operator of the Pennsylvania Railroad, retiring February 6, 1958, after 45 years of service. Surviving are his wife, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Floyd Campbell of Boca Raton, Florida, Mrs. William Anderson of Tyrone, and Donald W. of Tyrone and five grandchildren.
