DIES OF INJURIES
Nephew of East Altoona Woman Fatally Injured by Auto, in Camden, N.J.

  Mrs. Robert McTulley, of East Altoona, received a message yesterday 
from Camden, N.J., telling of the death of her nephew, Walter Rice, 
aged 13, in the City hospital at that place.
  The boy, who had one time been a pupil in the Logan township schools 
and had visited here only two weeks ago, was with his mother on a 
shopping tour of Merchantville, N.J.  The boy attempted to cross the 
street in front of an automobile when he was struck and thrown down to 
the pavement.  He lingered with a fractured skull until noon yesterday, 
when he succumbed at the Camden hospital.
