Richards, wife of Joseph Richards, died at 2:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family home, 1425 Bell avenue, of a complication of diseases. She had been ill one year. She was born in Kittanning, Pa., May 5, 1869, and was married thirty-one years ago. She was a member of the Reformed church. She is survived by her husband and eight children - Mrs. Charles Sharrow, Margaret, Lillian, Anna, Homer, Gertrude, Clara and Charles; also by six grandchildren, one brother, David Bellis, of this city, and two sisters living in Pittsburg. The funeral will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. Lockart. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Friday Morning, May 10, 1918, page 10
