Richardson, 78, formerly of Tyrone, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at Valley View Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born October 14, 1928 in Brackenridge, PA, son of Robert and Isabella (Mulholland) Richardson. He married Betty L. McCully on August 26, 1950 in Winchester, Virginia. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2000. He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Holt and husband Dan of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Roberta Ainsworth and husband Aurthur of Pearl River, New York, and Toni Jackson of Tyrone; a sister, Shirley Tyler and husband Tim of Bellwood; a brother Charles and wife Betty of Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Richardson; and two sisters, Patricia Glass and Isabel Davis. He was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Altoona where he was an elder. He retired in 1985 as a machinist supervisor from Wean United, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, achieving the rank of sergeant. He enjoyed anything mechanical. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the funeral home with Bishop Jim Hite officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park. Memorial Contributions many be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Inc., the Alzheimer's Association, or Ascerna Care Hospice Program. Tyrone Daily Herald, January 18, 2007
