He was a retired pattern maker at the South Altoona foundry, and was born in Middleton, Pa., in 1849. He is survived by his wife and seven children: Theodore, Mrs. William Baird, Mrs. William Bick of Duncansville, Abraham of Batavia, N.Y., Charley of Michigan, Mrs. Ross Clifford and Paul of Swissvale. He also is survived by eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of his son, where he died, on Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, after which the body will be taken to Middleton for interment Monday morning.
