Whose death on Saturday afternoon was briefly noted in Saturday evening's MIRROR, was a prominent member of the Frohsinn Singing society and had been its treasurer continuously for many years. He was twice married - first to Miss Elizabeth Yeager, on November 23, 1863, to which union eight children were born, five of whom are living. His first wife died on January 29, 1879. In February, 1881, he married Mrs. Teresa Kurtz, who, with one daughter, survives him. The six surviving children are as follows: John, M. G., Francis J., George J., Clement L., Albert K and Agnes E. The deceased was a member of St. Mary's (German) Catholic church and had been for many years a member of the choir. The funeral will leave his late residence, 1113 Sixth avenue, at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. Requiem mass in St. Mary's church; interment in St. John's cemetery. Altoona Mirror, February 25, 1895
