Deceased had been ill for about a year from complications. A more complete account of his demise will be published tomorrow. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, April 18, 1918 TYRONE NEWS J. E. RIGGINS DEAD. James E. Riggins, a brief mention of the demise of whom appeared in yesterday's "Times," was born Nov. 28, 1935, at Glendale, N.J. His wife died in 1873. About ten years ago he came to Tyrone to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. August L. Miller. Another daughter, Mrs. L. R. Craig and one son, William Riggins of Philadelphia, also survive. He also leaves these brothers and sisters: John P. Riggins of Pennsgrove, N.J., Mrs. Sarah Evans of Maritore, N.J., and Miss Emma Wiese of Glendale, Pa. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Miller apartments in the Garmon block, in charge of Rev. H. W. Bieber, pastor of the First Presbyterian church.
