Rightnour died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Hainley, 440 Main Street Roaring Spring, on Sunday morning, October 22, 1944, at 2:30 o'clock. She was a daughter of Richard and Sarah Adams Coplin and was born at New Paris, Bedford County, September 3, 1883. She was united in marriage with H. E. Rightnour on June 24, 1904, at Roaring Spring. Surviving are these children: Mrs. H. E. Hainley, at whose home she died; James, Harry and Robert of Roaring Spring; Mrs. J. W. Baker of Huntingdon; Mrs. A. L. Rutter of Altoona; John, with the United States Army in Italy; and two brothers, John Coplin of New Paris and Blair Coplin of Cresson; and one sister, Mrs. George Riley of Everett. She was educated in the Bedford County schools and was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were held at the home of H. E. Hainley on Tuesday afternoon.
