MAUD RILING Mrs. Maud Riling, 5711 Roselawn Avenue, Eldorado, died yesterday morning, March 11, 1943, at her home at 2 o'clock, after an extended illness. She was born July 28, 1871, at Freeport, Ia., the daughter of Marcus and Mary Metzgar, and was united in marriage with Woods B. Riling on June 10, 1891. Surviving are her husband and the following children: William W. Riling of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. C. Fred King of Huntingdon, Mrs. J.R. Miller of Tyrone, Private Fred B. Riling of San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. Guy C. Conrad and James B. Riling, both of Altoona, and Mrs. John Elvey, at home; 21 grandchildren and the following sisters: Mrs. Lena Jaquette of Lockport, N.Y., Mrs. Bessie Amon of Grove City, Mrs. Helen Johnson of Cheswick, Mrs. Hattie Alter of New Kensington, Misses Lillian and Margaret Metzgar, both of Pittsburgh. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. Luke H. Rhoads, of Altoona. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery, Altoona.
