Mr. Riling, 80, of Box 607, Fostoria, Tyrone RD 2, died at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1987, at Altoona Hospital. Known as Razz, Mr. Riling retired as a track foreman from Conrail in 1972, after 47 years' service. He was born March 29, 1907, in Union Furnace, the son of Samuel and Anna (Keenan) Riling, and June 14, 1926, in Huntingdon, married Beatrice E. Flood, who died July 4, 1976. Surviving are four children: Marjorie Irwin of Columbus, Ohio; Ralph Jr. and Robert of Tyrone RD 2 and Shirley Black of Palmyra, N.Y.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Anna Butterbaugh of Wooster, Ohio, and Pauline Khalouf of Duncansville RD. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gerald D. Johnson Funeral Home, Bellwood. RILING - Services for Ralph F. Riling Sr. of Fostoria, Tyrone RD 2, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gerald D. Johnson Funeral Home, Bellwood, by the Rev. Norman C. Waite. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
