Mrs. Elizabeth Risdon, wife of James Risdon, of 1025 Twenty-second avenue, died at 11 o'clock last night after a lingering illness, the direct cause of her death being heart disease from which she had been suffering for three months past. She was aged 47 years, 7 months and 27 days. One son, Alfred, and one daughter, Miss Cora Risdon, survive, as do also two brothers, William Coombs, of Millerstown, Perry county, and John Coombs, of England, and four sisters, one living in England and three in Australia. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. The funeral arrangements will be announced to-morrow. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, January 15, 1891 Local Brevities. The funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Risdon will take place this evening at 7 o'clock, at the husband's residence, 1025 Twenty-second avenue. The remains of the late Mrs. James Risdon, who departed this life on Wednesday last, were conveyed to Millerstown, Perry county, on Friday for interment. The funeral services were held at the residence, 1025 Twenty-second avenue, on Thursday evening. The sermon was preached by Rev. Allen Sheldon Woodle, of St. Luke's Episcopal church, of which she was a consistent member. Our sincere sympathy is with the bereaved family in their hour of trouble.
