Ritchey, 105 East Twenty-sixth avenue, died at the Altoona hospital, Saturday afternoon at 5.15 o'clock after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, Jan. 17, 1886, a daughter of C. Wesley and Sarah E. (Powell) Burns. Surviving are her husband; five sons and three daughters, Elwood, Raymond and Mrs. Catherine Shew, Altoona; Mrs. Dorothy Askey, Liverpool, O.; S/Sgt. Dean, Fort Riley, Kans.; Pfc. Clyde, in the Philippine islands; Donald, with the merchant marine, and Betty Jane, at home; three brothers and two sisters, Jesse C., C. Wesley and Mrs. Mary Heinbaugh, Altoona; Mrs. Sarah Sheppard, Tampa, Fla., and Sheldon L., Altoona; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Ritchey was a life long member of the Fairview Methodist church. Friends will be received at the home. RITCHEY - Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha C. Ritchey, 105 East Twenty- sixth avenue, will be held from the home, Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
