DEAN P. RITCHEY

80, 2420 Bel Aire Drive, Glenview, Ill., formerly of Altoona, died 
Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996, at Brentwood North Hospital, Riverwoods, Ill. 
He was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Altoona, the son of the late William and 
Bertha (Burns) Ritchey. He married Dorothy Jones. She preceded him in 
death. Mr. Ritchey was a former member of Fairview United Methodist 
Church. He retired as a marketing executive for A&P Tea Co. Mr. Ritchey 
was a 1933 graduate of Altoona High School and a veteran of World War 
II. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah D. Ritchey of Evanston, Ill.; 
three sisters: Catherine E. Shew of Altoona, Dorothy Askey of Poland, 
Ohio, and Betty Jane Austin in Arizona; and two brothers: Clyde of 
Altoona and Donald in New Jersey. Arrangements by N. H. Scott & 
Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, Glenview.

RITCHEY - Mr. Ritchey was preceded in death by two brothers: Elwood and 
Raymond, both of Altoona.
